And thank you for continuing to follow my thread. I see you pop up regularly nina marie Wow T, they are supercharged plants, they have grown so much in such a short space of time. Fabulous! And I am sure I read somewhere that natives take forever to grow? thanks hon. Can't remember if I replied to your email properly about our builder... let's catch up soon. Very happy with the garden, although we can tell the areas that have poor soil... How are you going? greenfish Looking fabulous. Very jealous x Thanks GF. Yours will come along soon enough... Have you finished the drainage work you had to do on your block? Deemaree Bird of Paradise T-the orange, exotic looking flower. Aha!! MrsRose Hi T, We haven't gotten around to doing the wet look sealer - still on the long list of things to do... We're expecting a brother or sister for Callum early next year so we now have a list of 'priorities' on the long list of things to do... Don't think its going to get done for a while... xxx What exciting news! Callum will love a play mate. And you will love the chaos .. and the joy! Think we might be like you with the sealer... kiwi Congratulations!!! Excellent news!! thanks hon. Nice to see you. How are things your end?! xxx brb_654 Sorry it's taken me so long to reply, been busy working. We've purchased a block of land, waiting for it to title. Haven't found a house to build yet, haven't had time between working and renovating mums place to put on the market, life has just been crazy busy. Keep you posted Good luck Barb. Another stressful process... Mclaren Hi T, you've done a great job in such short space of time ... I can remember the "bones" of your garden and to see it now ... wow!!! Congrats on the tree out front too!! thanks Annette. Yes, it is hard to believe how it has transformed from the building site bones to what it is now. The tree out front is growing well, but has a few yellow leaves, so I am researching banksias and yellow leaves. Iron deficiency I think. Oh the gardening maintenance! Off to Europe in 2 weeks, ( thanksgiving day, not that we celebrate it, but maybe I will from now on!) Going to Japan for a night first to see the big temple near narita. Then all over the place....even managed a cruise around the med for 7 nights . $400 each, gotta do it. So will catch up with you next year sometime I hope when I am next over. Good luck with the jobs. Re: SunshineT's Build: Garden pics 4435Nov 11, 2013 12:56 pm Great to get another update T We have yet to finish sorting out the drainage. We are hoping to get a plumber here for a rough quote on agi pipe this week. I just want an idea on price, I know DH can do it, but it will take him soooooo long, and if it comes in under $2k I would rather pay a plumber to do it in a few days then have DH waste several weeks doing it without the right equipment and everything.... With your list of tasks - I wonder if your walls look as terrible as mine, my kids are so rough. I've just sat down from wiping down the walls and doors and am quite sad at the marks not coming out. My youngest keeps drawing on my walls too Grrr think we will have to sugar soap the whole place what a nightmare!! Re: SunshineT's Build: Garden pics 4436Nov 11, 2013 1:14 pm greenfish My youngest keeps drawing on my walls too Grrr think we will have to sugar soap the whole place what a nightmare!! Tie his hands behind his back Great update T - good to hear there's nothing too major and you're enjoying your special place. There are some jobs that unless you make a special effort never get done but hey we can all live with that and not be so hard on ourselves. I think we've all done a fantastic job when you think about all the trials and tribulations over our various building projects ..
