I think it's been 3 months! But having said that, those delays were our choice really. I showed up to the first tender appointment with 3 pages of handwritten changes we wanted to make hahaha. We've been very picky about our plans and kept making them change things and quote on alternatives until we were happy. Changing stuff like where the aircon controllers were, the door placements, moved a wall here and there, changed the bathroom layouts etc etc. They took about 1-2 weeks each time to get back with the quotes and changes and the time just really adds up. They have been very good though, they've never made a major mistake or missed anything big. Our tender lady was getting pretty snarky towards the end but otherwise she has been very efficient and accommodating. She would always give us a day that she would get back to us and she never once failed to come through. Pretty amazing in this day and age it seems!
I drew inspiration off another member here who said she got to 9 tenders with Plantation. That really helped me not feel bad for making them go and do more work on the tender hahaha.
We have received our 5th tender tonight and the good news is I think we're finally satisfied!! I am so excited that tomorrow we will be able to sign the tender and get the official contract drawings underway. I am also excited because they have included our kitchen elevations in this tender (as the kitchen was the area we were most difficult for them!). I'll attach them below because I am really very interested in any opinions on the way we've laid out our kitchen. The easiest way to make sense of it initially is to look at the bottom right diagram, that shows a birds eye view of the whole kitchen area. I do worry about the amount of bench space (one of the things we increased) but hopefully it'll be alright!
