Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 8Jul 19, 2013 11:53 am Colin told us last week registration wont be until October. . . Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 10Jul 26, 2013 3:38 pm We are going custom. We had our first meeting with the architect last Wednesday to start drawing up our plans and getting a local builder (Hilton homes) to construct it. What about you? Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 11Jul 26, 2013 3:44 pm We are building the symphony elite with Masterton. With a few adjustments to suit our needs. We are still to do internal selections, and then like everyone else will just be waiting on registration. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 13Aug 01, 2013 3:24 pm Hi guys - I feel your pain!!! We are in stage 51...when we first bought the land in June last year, we were told registration would be December/January, then February, then March, then April (you get where I am going with this!)....we settled early July!!! I hope that you guys don't have the same problem and you can all settle in October Building a Drysdale 27 with Eden Brae! Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 14Oct 27, 2013 8:13 pm Hi Guys, We are also building in stage 33 on McGovern Street, Can't wait till registration! When will that be? Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 16Oct 28, 2013 5:07 pm Hi immy, looks like we will be close neighbours, we spoke to Colin today and he said that they are putting the electrical wires underground which is why the hold up, I think it's going to be more than 3 weeks delayed settlement some how! Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 17Oct 28, 2013 6:28 pm As much as I want to settle asap I wouldn't mind if it doesnt happen till late december, after Christmas. If we were to start building before we'd have a 4-6 week down period over the Christmas break, less interest paid on a vacant building site, more money towards the build. However it is frustrating being delayed as said earlier in the thread we were first told registration would be july. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 18Oct 28, 2013 7:55 pm Yes it is frustrating, but like you said early next year would be fine! Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 19Oct 29, 2013 8:57 am Yep McGovern.. hopefully we all have good neighbours Matt youre right and my frustrated brain didnt think of it that way. So lets hope mid January settle and we can start building... we have 2 young children in a small house and we are ready to move down and start our lives in a new area etc. Building is certainly a slow process but time goes fast so im sure when we all move in this waiting part wont matter Re: Spring Farm Riverside *stage 31* 20Oct 29, 2013 10:16 am Yeh my wife and I cant wait to start building and move back into the camden area to start a family. We sold our house back in june and moved in with my parents so we could start building as soon as it registered... So still no slab and apparently the concreter cancelled. Here come the delays... apparently things haven't recovered quite as much as I thought. I've been told maybe next… 8 32175 DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair We purchased a 1960s property that is on timber stumps mostly, and a newer section is on concrete stumps. We had a building inspection initially and they reported some… 0 13027 The fastest thing a builder will do is bank your cheque, those systems work perfectly with lightning speed, everything else is slow burn.
