I'm currently living with my inlaws, so patience can at times be stretched! But we know the end result will be great. No date for settlement yet, but we were told civil works would end very soon. I occasionally go up and look at the works, and they seem to be doing quite a lot- laying the road etc. Its great you say that it seems to move quickly after this part. What Stage were you in? Our house is tiny, but for an idea of the speed they can work at, we have had slab, frame, pest treatment, windows, electrical and plumbing placement, air-conditioning ducting, insulation, and now yesterday the gyprock, in little over a month. Plus there's a sticker on the window to say that Gliderol has been out to measure. We were told on Tuesday that the kitchen will be fitted in about four weeks. They are moving so fast, I almost want them to slow down, but I believe things do slow down after lock-up, which I'm figuring must be soon for us. I hope ours is that fast, but is perhaps a slightly bigger house. It seems like there are so many houses being built in the area, I wonder how they could manage to build them all relatively quickly. Do you know if they use various building companies, or just the one (which would presumably have many staff)? Anybody know any good and reasonably priced Air conditioning contractors/companies that could install a ducted air conditioning system in the Central Coast NSW for a small… 0 8985 |
