I'm so glad we opted for an upgrade on the laminate - it's so nice to walk on barefoot! Less echoes too. I love the look of hard wood flooring, but wasn't willing to do the maintenance required, so this was a good solution. Re: Our castle by the sea - first build in Trinity, Alkimos 118Oct 09, 2013 5:58 pm We were pretty impressed with the wood look tiles we saw in one of the Celebration display homes, but ultimately we thought the floating timber would be a little more forgiving if things get dropped on it! Obviously have to be a bit more vigilant cleaning up any spills, but at least you can replace individual boards if needed.
