Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 01, 2013 2:56 am Hi Everyone We put a deposit on a block of land in Haywards Bay at the end of last year with an expected date for land registration to be March 2013. The constant delays have now brought land registration to this month and it's currently in land titles. We are building with Wisdom Homes and have been ready to go to council for some time now so are really looking forward to getting things moving. Would be great to hear from anyone else who is building in Haywards Bay. Re: Anyone else building in Haywards Bay? 12Oct 17, 2013 5:26 pm Great news!!!! I found out yesterday through some investigation work of my own that Winton group no longer have anything to do with Haywards Bay and a company called RCL group have taken over. Would have been nice if someone had informed us all of this change which I guess is one of the reasons for the constant delays in registration. Anyway the latest update is now end of this month for registration but will believe it when I see it considering this is about the 10th change in completion dates this year. Re: Anyone else building in Haywards Bay? 14Nov 01, 2013 11:12 am I was starting to get worried as I read through those posts. My hubby and I will be putting down our deposit in the next land release of Haywards Bay - bit worried about the length of time to get it registered though - clearly hoping to be in by next Christmas is not going to happen! Re: Anyone else building in Haywards Bay? 16Nov 02, 2013 12:25 pm Out of curiosity, what did you/are you building in Haywards Bay? We are going with the Merlot with Terrazza Twist by Beechwood. And what did you end up paying for site costs??
