It can all get confusing when each body says it's down to the other's requirements but none actually give any! Yes, as I said above and you confirmed too, we are allowed to do it, just liable for the cost if future work ever needs doing. I'm hoping we will do ours one colour too, have to finalise our budget to make a call on it. Don't have any updates on our progress yet, hopefully will hear about the paperwork approval to construction team in the next week. Re: BUILDING IN MANOOKA VALLEY CURRANS HILL 214Sep 16, 2013 5:17 pm Hi Everyone. I was wondering why we didn't get a notification letter about the application next door and found out that council only send them if its for a double storey house. We definitely want to do the driveway all the same...if they dig it up then so be it... Q - Did anyone pay council rates when settling on their land? The rates notice presents the same to us...nothing due in the first quarter and then an installment due end Nov. I knew from our settlement statement that we had paid our portion of $1000 charged by the developer for the year. And then we got the bill from the date of registration until the end of the year ! BTW - do we have recycled water in our estate? Our builder says we don't need a tank.... Villina Grande Handover 10/9 Re: BUILDING IN MANOOKA VALLEY CURRANS HILL 220Sep 18, 2013 9:42 am I thought there was no recycled water and rain tanks are required, I'd ask the builder for written confirmation - seems strange to me. We have a tank and ours has been through council already.
