We also requested - from the builder - that the cornices be built out ie with a gap between them & the wall, to take into account the tile edge. Built the Eden Brae Cambridge 34 Family with Boston Corner Facade Re: Floor to ceiling bathroom tiles 39Sep 19, 2013 1:50 am Our ensuite has for all the good stuff like stone benches and floor to ceiling tiles. Unfortunately my hubby was not at all interested in upgrading anything in the bathroom as we won't use it - it will just be for visitors. I wouldn't have minded spending the money tere but after its built i might look at getting a timer in to do that. I did upgrade our bath though as I felt the second bathroom would be a bit sad. Those prices are insane!! I wouldn't hesitate to get floor to ceiling tiles if you get a descent quote $4000 is out of the ball park I see so many houses with just the 2 tiles high behind the bath & looks cheap & unfinished that's just my opinion It's money we'll spent I wouldn't purchase a house without out! I doubt it was only $1,000, which will only get you about 12sqm of porcelain tiles (installed, at cost). I like the look, I also did floor to ceiling in my laundry as it's a thoroughfare. They make the room much easier to clean for one, reflect more light (if light colour tiles are used), and you dont end up with dust on the top edge of tiles (cause most… 3 9603 Possibly both depending on the sizing. Idea of working from the centre is that you dont have a 20mm thin tile at one end and a 400mm at the other end. A quick search on… 3 8417 This is a very tight fit, I'm not sure if you'll be able to achieve what you've described. Would you consider accessing the separate toilet from the laundry? If so maybe… 1 11253 |
