With the pod delayed until Monday, we stopped by to see what the front of our block looked like cleaned up. We got to talk again to a lovely future neighbour on our street - a 90+ lady with her 99 year old husband still living in the house they moved into in the '50s and going for her daily stroll down the street. She was telling us how she has lived in the area all her life, growing up in Lathlain - and told us how her grand-daughter (in her 50's!) moves about far too much, she never knows if she'll be north or south of the river next
Still got the shed out front but starting to get a feel for the presence of our house from the street - had to review our render/roof colours last night so will be interested to see how they work out:

And for comparison, we have a pair of houses being built behind us by a neighbour at the back who owned the block beside his place. They were slabbed at roughly the same time as us and the back house has just had tiles put on (front place has timbers just completed):
