Don't stress about the sliding they make it look good Ditto....you will find that on most builds then they put a matching strip the same colour as your door to cover. Just like the outdoor eaves/ceilings often have gaps and they just put up some meranti quad to cover those gaps We were the same as you when we saw all these 'imperfections' and were like WTF Well maybe not that concerned over muddy footprints though hehehe Deposit Paid 31/10/12 Selections 25/1/13 NHC 28/2 DCA 20/3 Siteworks 2/5 Slabbed 20/5 Wall Frames 3/6 Brickwork Finished 2/7 Lock Up 19/7 viewtopic.php?f=31&t=58864 Re: chandler alfresco in the barossa 437Sep 05, 2013 9:47 pm pre handover tomorrow. paving was finished today, one side fence is up and the back fence is up but the neighbour to the right had to take down the fence so the concreter could do their perimetre concreting. carpets are laid and cleaner was there again today. the metal stripping is spose to be getting done tomorrow. we are trying to get the valuation done by tues/wed so the bank can pay hickies and we can pick up keys friday. oh almost forgot the kitchen splashback grout has been corrected and looks way better than the crappy white that was there. nah dont think i have any more pics. Re: chandler alfresco in the barossa 439Sep 06, 2013 7:58 am Wow, I can't believe how quickly this has come around. All the best for pre-handover. So glad the grout was corrected! I bet it looks fabulous with everything finished, or, at least, almost finished. Re: chandler alfresco in the barossa 440Sep 06, 2013 7:22 pm had pre handover today at 9am. found a few small things, like missed paint and scratched light switch. only found the one major thing which is the plumbing under the paving is wrong down one side of the house so the paver will have to rip up some pavers and re-do the pavers. the vauler was spose to be going today but not sure if they did end up going today. much to our disgust we decided later this afternoon to drive by quickly as hubby wanted to check something and he was able to just open the unlocked front door. why bother locking us our if you are not going to lock it??? apparently the ss told the painter to leave it unlocked as the valuer was spose to be coming, anyone could walk in and claim to be a valuer. front door open, looking in kinda.
