Re: BUILDING IN MANOOKA VALLEY CURRANS HILL 178Sep 03, 2013 8:57 pm Siddo Hugh jokes that i should get a job with them as I know all the inclusions etc off by heart now..hahaha...but well done, now your one of them lol... I can see how easily you can spend $8k on tiles. The tile company probably made money off us as we didn't even tile to the ceiling (personal choice). We only tiled to the height of the shower plus we didn't add any feature tiles anywhere all just plain white wall tiles...very minimalistic with a dark floor tile like this http://creativehomeidea.com/small-apart ... the-floor/ Building a Wisdom Impression 33 5 bed + study, outdoor leisure + lanai, Jasper colorbond roof Re: BUILDING IN MANOOKA VALLEY CURRANS HILL 179Sep 03, 2013 9:01 pm Hi Ash...agree on Christmas party..maybe at the park if all made and BBqs working etc by then. The Chapmans will be around currans Hill on Saturday due to voting at the school and Hugh is working at the BBQ at school between 11 and 1ish . So if anyone wants to meet up I can be there ( 4 children will be included ) Building a Wisdom Impression 33 5 bed + study, outdoor leisure + lanai, Jasper colorbond roof Re: BUILDING IN MANOOKA VALLEY CURRANS HILL 180Sep 04, 2013 10:35 am I was cautious of announcing it on here in case I became "one of them" haha! Yea we did budget for tile and floor upgrades (includes thickest underlay and a carpet upgrade too) but Di Lorenzo certainly aren't the best price wise. Just having matching grout or the closer grout lines added $16m2 each!! It's very easy to get carried away, $100 here $100 there soon add's up but we hope to make this a home for at least 10-15 years so we wanted to do it right. We had similar opinions with the pool, should we do it now or later. In the end we decided that we'd have one big mess of a garden anyway so let's put the pool in and landscape around that. It has caused problems though and is a headache. I'm not sure what we'd do if we were to start over. Are they putting in BBQ's next to the park? I was there at the weekend (one of my last weekends off!) and couldn't see any infrastructure for it but will be good if they are going in. thanks guys! yes this is how I've exactly raised it with the builder. still awaiting response. 12 6554 Howdy all.
