Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 147Aug 21, 2013 8:41 am Yeah, the texture runs from ceiling to floor and is several wavy lines. We loved it straight away but then freaked out after selections thinking cleaning would be a nightmare, having to scrub the little indentations but was very relieved when we saw the tiles again that the indents do not intrude as much as we thought! Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 148Aug 21, 2013 10:56 am I think I looked at that tile--it's beautiful, and looks great in your photo. It was on my final list, however, how boring am I, I went for flush. Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 152Aug 27, 2013 8:21 pm Having eaves installed, waiting on feature tiles, paint. Shower screens, benchtop and rendering at the moment. I'm happy! Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 156Aug 31, 2013 12:32 pm Zoe, everything looks really beautiful. What window coverings are you considering for those front awning ones? Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 157Aug 31, 2013 4:07 pm Thank you Lucinda. We're not really sure. I thought we'd just go with basic roller blinds but I'm wondering if we should shop around a bit. I would love a pelmet or something over the top maybe but really not sure. Open to any suggestions. We have them in the home theatre and master bedroom. Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 158Aug 31, 2013 7:36 pm gorgeous ceiling! do you have any special lights for this space in mind ? I have similar in the front bedroom and I'm looking for ideas. I wouldn't mind looking into shutters, but I'll want timber-look which might look a bit heavy, and I'm not too sure how difficult they will be to clean. I've thought of blinds, but there will be a gap through which light will filter regardless of whether the blind was inside or outside the frame. We have a street light across the road which would be fine it it weren't the bedroom--I need darkness to sleep well. Re: Ashville - Seaford Meadows 160Aug 31, 2013 8:13 pm Thank you. No idea of lights at this point but this rooms had 2 lights in it. So maybe 2 round shades with a simple pattern??? Maybe just a 400mm drop on them... I'm not sure. Again we are open to suggestions. Oh first jobs are storm water, carpet, tiles, splash back and paving. |
