There are quite a few words that are blocked like this one. Ly ing is another. So in order to cut down on the amount of work for we, volunteers these words are banned. It can be a nuisance as there are perfectly valid reasons sometimes for wanting to use them and it frustrates me as well sometimes but it helps make the volunteer support members work easier in the long run and sometimes will be enough to make someone stop and think before they post something that is defaming and which could lead to them being taken to court. kexkez Forum Support Team Member Re: Strange word block? 3Aug 18, 2013 2:05 pm kexkez hi itzeddie Homeone has an issue with words like that because often someone who is a disgruntled customer of a business will join the forum to vent/let off steam. I came into this section of the forum to ask why that was blocked. As it's a very common word that is used in Aussie speech far more than in a truly negative tone. But I guess if it makes it easier, just means you use a synonym. That can have a stronger connotation than the 'original' slang.
