Re: First home build with Dale Alcock in Aveley: Bricklaying 157Aug 03, 2013 12:08 am +Tbrown2012 I am thinking maybe we should've rendered our whole house. We did render the alfresco area too so hoping it doesn't look weird and patchy. We didn't even enquire how much extra the whole house would've been. If I remember the alfresco rendered was approx $1500? Wow that's pricey. We're paying $1900 for two-colour render to the whole of the exterior on ours. Re: First home build with Dale Alcock in Aveley: Bricklaying 158Aug 03, 2013 12:17 am It only cost us $1300 to do the whole house! It may cost more to have someone do the rendering, but they build with cheaper bricks so overall the increase in cost is minimal and well worth it. I've since come to terms with the fact that our plans are not going to change at this point. And our house will be wonderful anyway.
