I received some bad news about the house on Friday, apparently the installer of the glass shower screens have managed to chip and damage both the basin and stone benchtop in my en-suite!

So went down to the house today at around lunch time and noticed they've stained the front door now. Also the Garage door is lowered so you can see how I tried to match the stain colour of the front door with the garage door

Took only a few photos of the front, just to show how the house looks now with the garage door down.
Tada! I'm glad the front door staining has come out looking very close to the garage door! The stain isn't an exact match but it was the closest I thought it looked like. Hopefully the colour doesn't change change as the stain ages or "cures" or whatever you call it

Ugh can't wait till I can park my car inside that lovely garage.
And my stained front door! I think I'll get the glass inserts either tinted darker or with an "obscure" sort of treatment for a bit more privacy. They've only installed the lock and will be back later to put in the lovely vertical door handle and the lever.
Someone asked me what colour the grage door is and the stain colour so I thought I'd write it down here too for anyone who's interested.
The garage door is the Gliderol brand, Model is "Tuscan", and the colour is called "Caoba"
The front door is a Corinthian Infinity INFWS 6G (1200mm wide) and the stain I chose was "Solver ash brown stain"
Also something to note, my house is North facing so I do get a lot of light on the front of the house. I've noticed with some other south facing houses with the same colour garage door, appear quite a bit darker, so just keep that in mind if you'd like a similar colour scheme

So yes not much to report on this week besides the unfortunate damage, but at least the house looks just that bit more complete now
