Cheers, Helen Hi Helen, thanks for that. Though is that certain someone from the management team or simply our BS himself? Another issue that I'm quite unhappy about is our shower mixer covers. We've got the mizu 1500 mixers (http://www.reece.com.au/m/bathrooms/pro ... bath-mixer) and ALL of the back covers come off (the circle backing) though according to our BS during our PCI this is normal. Could anyone clarify if they have one and if it simply just feels like it hasn't been stuck on properly and can just be pulled off? To me it's just like buying a mobile phone with the battery cover constantly falling off and the phone manufacturer getting away with it.. Just wanted to know on people's own experiences of their own. Thanks [/quote] Call Reece for some clarification on that issue, they'll definitely be able to tell you how they should be installed and if this problem should be happening. Good luck Re: Porter Davis homes 7496Jul 01, 2013 12:27 pm inglewood Back Pocket This is part of the new "inclusions pack for prestige homes" on the current PD website. Given the somewhat "limited" range at Hopetoun and the problems with the current selections, I am pretty peeved at this. Your choice of 39 different combinations of basin and tapware to master ensuite, ensuites and powder room. Where can you see the 39 different combinations? Can Lifestyle /Access people upgrade to these? Does anyone know anything about this? Has anyone seen it? Can we do a PCV as we have not started on site yet? I have asked my BC, no idea. wow - wonder how many of these would be 'standard'. Def interested - and a PCV would certainly be on the cards for us too! Let us know if you hear anything more I guess that means the nice oval bath in the displays is available again for lifestyle customers... might have to change our bath ... Have you asked for the bath to be changed? We refused the lifestyle bath and were able to pick one to our liking - of course at an extra cost - so if youre paying for it you should be allowed to have any damn bath you want. Good luck No we've not asked for the bath to be changed. As much as I'd prefer the oval bath, I just couldn't be bothered with the hassle of trying to change it at the time. Re: Porter Davis homes 7498Jul 01, 2013 8:41 pm tai27 madhouse1 tai27 - Rubber sealing/weather stripping for the front door not provided as is it not standard for front doors of PD homes? Really? On windy days that door does not stay still. - No hole provided to feed through our pipes for our washing machine into the taps positioned in the cabinets. If I had knew this beforehand I wouldn't have had them there in the first place, now gotta go around and find a saw drill to drill one. Anyone had issues with any of the above?! We have the 1500 series in our place will check what they are like on thursday. Building the Montague 21 by Porter Davis at The Estuary, Leopold. Let me know what happens with your mixer plates as well, according to our BS it's the way they are and are meant to easily come off if "physically pulled". The one for our bathtub "spins", but isn't easily pulled off but the ones in the showers (especially the one in our main bathroom) is simply coming off. Re: Porter Davis homes 7500Jul 02, 2013 10:18 am Was wondering if anyone could help. Our site start is this Thursday and slab pour in July 16th. I was recommended houspect for independent inspections but was wondering if it is worth getting them to inspect the slab or not? What stages have people used their own inspectors for? Thanks!
