Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 May 16, 2006 9:27 pm Sorry if this has been discussed anywhere else, I did a quick search and couldn't find any references to tile paint.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with it. We are in the process of buying our first house (ooh, ooh, gush) and it has delightful 70s/80s brown, mustard and orange tiles in the kitchen. Renovating is out of the question for now but I think changning the tiles would make it much more pleasant. If we can get away with tile paint, then I would do it pretty much as soon as we move, but I need to know if it is any good. Re: White Knight tile paint 2May 16, 2006 9:38 pm Hey Jennahpox,
The search in the extreme top-right pertains to the site-wide search, exluding forum results. However, I think what you're after is the specific forum search function. In the blue box just below the site search field, there is a link titled 'Search'. Hope this helps. Re: White Knight tile paint 3May 16, 2006 9:42 pm ...and how rude of me.

Rude perhaps... but helpful, and spot on with my error. But you redeemed yourself, so thank you for your welcome. Very preliminary look: can't find any useful threads in the search results. Hohum. Re: White Knight tile paint 5May 16, 2006 10:06 pm Which is precisely why you've joined us..
So yours will be the first of useful threads in the area of painting - White Knight Tile Paint, to be specific. You raise a good point though. The site is still growing, and along with it, its Forum. In time we hope to have many millions a visitor scouring these pages and contributing oodles of useful information. Nevertheless, hopefully one of our members will jump on shortly and provide you with the very answer you're waiting for. Tick, tick, tick... Re: White Knight tile paint 6May 16, 2006 10:14 pm Until that happens, just to pass the time, we could get all fatalistic and say that my whole purpose in being was to come here and start a thread revolving around the concept of White Knight tile paint. This will embolden all of those timid closet White Knight tile paint enthusiests to emerge from their boxwood 2-pac lacquered cabinets and answer the question of whether it is any good or not. white knight tile paint 7Sep 03, 2006 11:05 pm Hi, I have just used the White Knight Tile Paint. I have had problems with drips running down the tiles, has anyone else had this problem and how do I avoid it next time? I used a paint brush, prep. has been done properly and paint has adhered well.
It looks great and while visitors probably wouldn't notice the fine detail, it is going to drive me crazy if I can't avoid this next time. Am going to do the bathroom next. I would try less paint on the brush, thin coats done in layers as they dry. I have had many clients use this product and I haven’t seen runs yet. Perhaps you are like me, a little heavy handed?
