If it was me and I was that concerned I would be looking at motion activated lights, monitored silent alarm (Police will rarely attend if it isn't a monitored alarm, and as previously stated most people ignore alarms that sound) and a dog that's going to deter anyone from jumping into the back yard. Security screens, key lockable window locks and patio bolts are all good investments also. The majority of burglaries in WA occur because people leave windows and doors unlocked and they walk right in. Don't leave things like car keys/handbags etc just sitting out in the open inside the house, secure them even if you are at home. http://www.abc.net.au/local/stories/201 ... outhwestwa Built with RedInk Custom 5000 Key Handover 15/12/2009 The gap can be adjusted so it's tighter.
