Now I read about planning approval, development approval and what not and I am just wondering what process/steps it goes through before it is fully approved to go ahead so I can ascertain where we are up to. Hopefully this is what the council is in the final stages of assessing. Once the council gives planning approval it then goes back to the builder who sends it to a surveyor for building approval. This should take about two weeks. It then goes back to council for a rubber stamp issuing building approval which should take about a week.
