We have possibly a small issue.
On being quoted for our pool fencing today, the gentleman has advised us that our outdoor GPO in the alfresco (which is 1050mm above floor) will be considered a climbable object and we will be forced to do something about it.

Fence to be installed to the left of the GPO.
It's comes as a bit of a surprise as when we submitted the building permit application for the pool fencing a guy came out to inspect where we would be putting the fence. He gave us a few things which may possibly cause concern but made no mention of the GPO being an issue at all.
We are all for safety and doing the right thing, but the thought of a child climbing onto this and jumping the fence is pretty absurd. For those in the know do you think this really will be an issue???
The fencing guy suggested getting a sparky out to disconnect the GPO and cover with a wall plate.
Don't really want to raise it as we will be left with a big hole in the wall to fill and will look horrible.
Thoughts please...
