The roof line of the house will stay the same, you are just pushing the wall out under the eave overhanging bit. The house is getting wider, but you won't need a wider block. Does that make any sense at all?? I don't really know how to explain it lol It's a way to get a little bit of extra width out of the house without actually making the frontage wider.
