Our ensuite sort of fits what you're after, but we couldnt add a door to it as there was no space, plan on a sliding door in the future, but for now a curtain on a tension rod is doing just fine! save you the trouble of digging through old threads, here it is viewtopic.php?f=31&t=55884 Oct 10 - Council Approval Oct 23 - Site scrape Oct 29 - Footings and Prelay OCT 30 - Slabbed Nov 6 - Bricks Delivered Nov 13 - Brickwork started Re: Goodlife Bravo Build Thread - Mandurah 15May 22, 2013 5:49 pm Hi Daedalus, thanks! Yes thats pretty much exactly what were after, will have to get JC all over it with a tape measure tonight. This forum is like heaven! Our home building & decorating blog - http://www.rocknsoul.com.au/blog Re: Goodlife Bravo Build Thread - Mandurah 16May 22, 2013 5:50 pm jcbissor Does the Bravo come with the Portico like the Madison, or do you have to add that does anyone know? Looking at the floor plan, I don't think it has a portico like the Madison. The Madison plan has "portico" written on it whereas the Bravo just has porch. Also there is no pillars, etc showing on the Bravo plan. The porch on the Bravo will probably look more like the Sienna display home. I can't see any reason why you couldn't add a portico to it though. This would be considered a structural change and would need to be done early on before the plans are submitted to council. Extending out under the eaves for the WIR like Daedalus has done is a great idea This should give you enough space to put a long narrow WIR behind the bed without loosing too much room space and will make the ensuite quite spacious. JC will be heartbroken! I wonder how much it would cost, adding it to the list of Q's. If we extend out under the eves (this might be a really stupid question - please forgive me ) does it affect the amount of side access we would be able to have next to the house? We have an 18m frontage block, and the Bravo is 12/13m wide I was told today... Our home building & decorating blog - http://www.rocknsoul.com.au/blog Re: Goodlife Bravo Build Thread - Mandurah 18May 22, 2013 6:19 pm There's no such thing as a stupid question! The roof line of the house will stay the same, you are just pushing the wall out under the eave overhanging bit. The house is getting wider, but you won't need a wider block. Does that make any sense at all?? I don't really know how to explain it lol It's a way to get a little bit of extra width out of the house without actually making the frontage wider. One thing to consider if you do go out under the eaves you may have trouble with the energy rating, depending on where that wall is facing. Hi, as per the subject. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best value decking oil (Bunning is close to where I live) for a treated pine deck? Thanks 0 10971 DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair That laser level looks lovely! We bought one for less than a quarter of that price off eBay. It worked really well for us and it's still going now, five years later. After… 1 16711 |
