In fact, D@n or someone, if you read this - would it be too much to ask for a change to white stone benchtops and I would take advice on splashback colour..... umm what do you want changed? confused. Re: My Poor Kitchen Builder 8Sep 09, 2008 10:36 pm Hi D@n, can you do the red kitchen splashback in a different colour, maybe white or a different light colour (sorry to be so non-specific, I am still unsure of what colour splashback) and is it possible to get white benchtops instead of ss? I know thats whats in the first picture, but its a different shade of green cupboards, I like the darker green as it doesn't look as washed out....If its easier, you can change the first picture's light green cupboards to the darker shade of green??
If thats even more confusing, I'm sorry, its late and I am soooooooooo tired!!! And don't worry if its too much trouble...thanks! Re: My Poor Kitchen Builder 9Sep 09, 2008 10:46 pm I would love to learn how to do my own design, I have looked at google sketch up, but am not sure how to get started!
SuH, what program did you use? Your kitchen sounds great by the way! Love the idea of your colours, especially the metalic shades in different light! We are getting the 40m with the waterfall in the nougat, I think the waterfall will be a great feature as it gives the benchtop a sleek finished look!! How long until you have your dream kitchen installed? I get so excited when I look at kitchen designs and talk about it, then reality hits and it seems so far away for us, our slab isn't even finished yet!!! Re: My Poor Kitchen Builder 10Sep 10, 2008 7:01 am I knew someone would ask what program I used all I used was the drawing toolbar and used rectangles of different sizes, even did the frame around the top cupboards using very skinny rectangles, then I coloured them in a light taupe colour. Put in an oven, a funny little cooktop, a speckled benchtop, a choc brown splashback and so on. I had to do the back, island bench and side sections on three different sketches. It was more than I got from the kitchen guy, who bytheway is lovely but still does graph drawings that look like nothing. Hi Mofflepop, I would recommend finding a building designer to prepare plans, they should design to your specified budget. The benefit is you can tender the project out… 9 20526 No. It's not original. Circa early to mid 90s would be my guess and maybe even as late as early 2000s 1 6699 |
