I'm not an expert at all.... but here is my opinion I think you need to keep it simple. Go a glass splashback in a colour as close to your dark kitchen cabinets. I think if you add any more colours, there will be too many things competing. Your island and concrete floors are absolutely stunning. They need to be the focus. Gorgeous Re: Show me your kitchen... 2332May 22, 2013 11:39 pm nina marie Like the mirror on the back of this island/bench Yeah that photo of banksies is stunning . The ovens we have used are in black mirror glass in a dark timber cabinet (the photo is a bit dark) I like the way the ovens reflect light and look different from every angle Re: Show me your kitchen... 2336May 27, 2013 8:59 am Redd Still struggling to decide on a splashback for this tossed around whtie , black mirror , some browns and greys (both glass and glass tiles) http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee141/redd17bk/2013-05-22183335.jpg Any interior experts out there ? love the kitchen, starfire glass splash back in white. with Starfire glass you won't get the green ting you would normally get with a stardard glass splash back. Mirror could look to cold next to the s/steel bench top. but.... a mirror could look amazing (depending other decor elements in your kitchen). Re: Show me your kitchen... 2337May 27, 2013 9:34 pm Pellana The floors are arc bamboo floating coffee colour Thanks for that, is it just the one colour (coffee) or a mixture of different boards? where did you buy them? how much per m^2 if you don't mind me asking? looks great Re: Show me your kitchen... 2338May 28, 2013 9:06 pm Bowser the colour should all be just one colour. I have noticed there are different coloured boards but I put this down to them being from a different batch etc. Our builder sourced the supplier for us so I don't know who it was that ended up supplying them as for the price it was somewhere between $80 and $90 per sqm laid.
