Scott will be like "what the??" When he gets back! I was gone for 30 mins and the ladies have gone rampant! I know what will sort this out.... What's everyone's opinion of JJ Abrams being chosen as director for the new Star Wars trilogy and possible stand alone films? Now the ladies have cleared out, are you wall mounting the Tv at yours? Re: Mt Barker, Bluestone Estate Man Stuff 26May 07, 2013 9:44 pm Def wall mounting the tv in family room, haven't decided what il do with my set up yet since its pretty big, think about that one day. What about you? I think JJ has a brilliant mind, alias, fringe etc great shows, he did well with the Star Trek movie that did pretty well. So I think it will turn out well, as long as they don't mess with the expanded universe which I'm a big fan of. And George Lucas is still involved, so I'm sure it will be what he visioned for it. What's your thought on this subject? What's your thought on this subject? I'd like to wall mount the tv and find a way to hide the cables. The amp and speakers is an older Yamaha set up, I don't think I can hide that anywhere... Have to find a really low line unit maybe for the Xbox, Ps3, etc. I love the expanded universe books as well. Don't know if I want to see Chewie die on the big screen though. Traumatic enough the 1st time. I guess JJ was as good a choice as anyone, no one could balls it up worse than Lucas did himself with the prequels anyway. Re: Mt Barker, Bluestone Estate Man Stuff 28May 07, 2013 11:48 pm Lads, Don't really have any substantial to add but as a potential man of the Orchard (350) just thought I better check in and say hey. Def wall mounting the TV in the family room and burying the cords in the wall. TVs in other areas still up for discussion dependant on what size we go with etc. In a move sure to alienate me instantaneously, just not a fan of Star Wars but wasn't JJ Abrams the man behind that awful movie Super 8??? Also, whats with the female invasion in here........clingy much lol! There goes the neighbourhood Will you be doing the burying of chords in the wall yourself and doing the mounting or getting an installer? Just wondering how easy the job is... I didnt hate Super 8 but it wast as cool as it could have been, his movies definitely look great but most seem to be love letters to Spielburg instead of their own thing. I am pretty techy and probably could do it myself but I am taking a no risk approach and getting a pro to do it I'd say. Depends how far the budget stretches Re: Mt Barker, Bluestone Estate Man Stuff 31May 12, 2013 8:10 pm I guess Tex can just stay home and Lynch is the man?
