I am happy to pay for postage or send someone an express post bag with some bubble wrap so it can be sent to me. We have our colour appointment on Monday and I don't have a tile sample for the laundry splashback We were meant to have a sample sent to us after our tile appointment because they didn't have any (2.5 weeks ago) but I haven't received it. Have called the PD Tile place but they are always in meetings. I had also ordered some samples from N@tional T!les prior to Easter to help with our tile selections but never received them either, emailed twice to follow up but never had a response. We're in the process of a BC change as our old one has moved departments so I managed to get my new BC's details today and have emailed her hoping she can do something for me before Monday! But I thought I would try here too Failing that I just might run into National Tiles on Monday morning and run out with their sample!!!! I ordered some samples before Easter and during our tile appointment the lady from PD went out to the normal tiles section to see if she could find one and they didn't have any. There is a National Tile Shop also in Narre Warren/Hallam on Princes Hwy - might be well out of your way though. I really hope they don't just run pipes across the cabinets... the mistake was noted in FEB and nothing was done... http://i1327.photobucket.com/albums/u673/jnkbids/IMG_2365_zps84860156.jpg Cabinet installers just installed the cabinet and now I have a sink that doesn't line up at all! http://i1327.photobucket.com/albums/u673/jnkbids/IMG_3234_zpsfd00322d.jpg Trying to run pipes across the cabinets would just render the entire cabinet useless.. Is there a limit as to how far away the drain-pipe can be? Somehow my sink is about 2 cabinets away from the drain-pipe which means the plumber is going to hack through THREE sections just to get to the pipe /quote] Hi jnkbids, I have raised your concerns about this matter with the Regional Business Manager. I have now gone back to the drawing board with exterior colours as we really like some of the Austral bricks! Colours appointment in a couple of weeks though, so I am feeling the pressure. Very interesting. They seem to be streamlining it a bit now. Hopefully this happens with other areas too! We have our colour selection this Monday and we had already chosen a Cat 2 Boral brick. I had seen it on a number of houses too so I know what it looks like. The thing is, I have no idea what any of the Austral bricks look like in person. Certainly does put the pressure on but remember, you can choose from Boral or Austral for a little while longer! Re: Porter Davis homes 7237May 08, 2013 2:42 pm ftd, I went to look at some this morning around the neighbourhood, as we originally wanted a lighter brick but none of the tones of the Boral ones really seemed to suit us. I really like the Ash but have to choose a render colour. I might go to Bunnings and get some paint chips today.. http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/a482/meowsy1/P5070373_zps6f5e3a41.jpg Our build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64705 Re: Porter Davis homes 7238May 08, 2013 2:45 pm meowsy ftd, I went to look at some this morning around the neighbourhood, as we originally wanted a lighter brick but none of the tones of the Boral ones really seemed to suit us. Re: Porter Davis homes 7239May 08, 2013 3:29 pm Ftdt we had the same thoughts as we live an hour away from our build and both work long hours we had an independent inspector go through and when we could get down anything that we noticed had already been found buy ss and was already organized to be rectified our inspector said that our build was the best he had seen for a volume builder in quite some time.
