We bought our land in April 2007 and initially we had hoped to be done by March this year, all ready to move in time for our wedding... little did we know!!! I have put my separate toilet into the main bathroom because I prefer a nice big open bathroom and I just prefer to use the toilet in a nice open room rather than the tiny box it was on our plans. Also our plans didn't have a basin in the separate WC so we would have had to add one and we preferred to just make a nice big main. It's also useful to have somewhere to sit undressing the kids or reading the paper while they're in the bath!
I also noticed how far your powder room was from the guest bathroom, that was the first thing I noticed. You could fit a tiny ensuite in there if you wanted, for such an amazing house I think it would be worth it. The shower off the powder could become a walk in linen in the laundry. Could you split that storage room so that you still have a place for shoes and coats near the entrance? Agree that it's a fantastic house!
