We have no small children either, but they are the only horizontal items. Re: Masterton Homes - The new thread 3.0 2323Apr 22, 2013 9:52 am Back again DSA39, yes the design is a split level, well two story but sloping block upwards from front to back. Downstairs will be Entry, triple garage and Rumpus with Ensuite Upstairs is Kitchen Lounge Dining in that large area with WIP. Then Master bed with ensuite and WIR, study/bed2, bed 3, bed 4, bathroom and laundry. We chose our flooring and tiles on Saturday. Going with Coffee Bamboo flooring, Mocha porcelin tiles to match the Mocha benctops and Malt coloured kitchen cabinets. Should be pretty nice. Now for just the colour appointment next monday and hopefully we should have all our approvals from the council in the next few weeks. Exciting Stuff! Re: Masterton Homes - The new thread 3.0 2324Apr 22, 2013 10:33 am Just spoke to our SS this morning for the first time (didnt want to bug him in early stages and he has since taken over a few other jobs after another SS left) and what can I say but he seems to be awesome! I introduced myself and without hesitation he told me what was happening this week and that the brickies will be in on Friday - I got a timeline for the next couple of stages without even asking. We requested a walk through when frames are finished in a couple of days and was given this Wednesday at 8am. Have heard good things about him from a friend building around the corner from us and going by my phone call if he is going to be like this all the way through - we are truly blessed. I can assure you most M's SS are great, including ours. They will get the job done on time. Just got SMS from our SS this morning informing me painters should finish this week, and next few weeks all 'finishing off' items done, then flooring (I Assume followed by PCI). Re: Masterton Homes - The new thread 3.0 2326Apr 22, 2013 1:09 pm For anyone doing there bathroom choices, try and avoid getting these as they drain very poorly: Basin - Coroma Basa Inset Basin. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Im forever cleaning toothpaiste etc from the surface as nothing feeds to the drain hole properly. I might have a whinge about it at our 90 maintenance inspection but Im not sure if M will resolve it. Will let you all know. Does your tap run strait into the drain or bit more forward onto the basin area? Go over corners , cornice etc....he would shine it up n look up n shine it down n look down.....omg he spotted a few biggyies that I would never had seen at pci....sanders will be required back at our place.....as he said u may not see them straight away n six months later it will annoy the crap out of you then there's nothing u can do about it.....amazing wat a simple tourch can show up lol I know exactly what you mean as we have just had our place sanded back, its very difficult to pick up at first,if its anything like ours you will have lumps throughout your walls and ceilings(mostly where the joins are)which is caused from the plasterers not sanding back enough or not at all or holes that were patched up instead of replacing the gyprock.Advice to everyone, get M to fix it prior to pci as it will be a massive struggle later on and a very messy job too and thanks to the workers not covering anything, i ended up with a heap of dust and plaster splatters all over my furniture, timber floors and stuck in my carpet and they never bothered to clean up after themselves. My garage roof is all gyprocked. Check this out. They would've left it this way if I hadn't said anything. They filled it in only a day ago, and painted it to cover up the gap. Also, we received our temporary paper blinds - they're stick-on - in block-out black or translucent white. We got them shipping cost free from http://www.ezyblind.com.au/ for $50.95 for 6 blinds! They have a 15% off sale on right now! Highly recommended! They will last us until Ark come back and put the shutters in! Thanks Vatche just ordered 2 lots how long did they take to come in? viewtopic.php?f=31&t=46741 Clovelly - Masterton Homes 5% to M 290312 CDC 21/06 20 days 29/08 Slab 17/09 Frame 26/09 Bricks 24/10 Roof tiles 20/11 Re: Masterton Homes - The new thread 3.0 2340Apr 22, 2013 11:31 pm dsa39 dsa39 jo&waz Also, we received our temporary paper blinds - they're stick-on - in block-out black or translucent white.
