Did you sign contracts in March 2012 or is this when you asked for a tender?
That's when I signed. Tender was received and modified over Jan and Feb.

It has been 5 months since we paid the initial deposit, and 3 since we accepted the tender. They have advised us that we will need to extend our tender as we will not start construction by the nominated date in the tender acceptance and want to charge us $3000 for this or we will lose our inclusions and be hit hit with a price rise to the base price. Some of you have had very long admin times prior to construction starting. I am curious if anyone else had to pay to extend their tender. Re: Wisdom Homes..........The Wise Choice 140Apr 05, 2013 5:12 pm We had already signed our contract, of which our tender was part of, 3 months before the tender expiration date. Our DA was approved before the tender expired but we had delays that pushed us past our tender date but weren't charged extra, however the delays were not our fault so Wisdom honoured the tender price. As you have not yet signed the contract, I can understand that they want to issue a new one as it is a while since your tender was done and they still need to lodge plans to council etc which will take a few months, then time to get your file ready for construction, so you could be another 3+ months before you even start building, so in that respect . $3,000 is not a lot to pay to keep your price package for another 6 months We built the Wisdom Majestic 40 - moved in!
