Not a problem, glad I could help. Other things to consider are colorbond downpipes which also are not included as standard. Even if you didn't get the one I am looking at, any information would at least give me an idea. I am looking at the Corinthian Urban PURB4 Our build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64705 Re: Porter Davis Upgrades and Costs 52Apr 10, 2013 6:11 pm meowsy Wondering if anyone has some pricing on some of the upgraded front doors? Even if you didn't get the one I am looking at, any information would at least give me an idea. I am looking at the Corinthian Urban PURB4 They're at least around $400 each. I'm getting double doors, the Corinthian Madison, PMAD101, so in total $880. Some of the cheaper doors didn't have panels in it, so if you have double doors and no side panels you will get no natural light. Re: Porter Davis Upgrades and Costs 53Apr 10, 2013 6:47 pm chrystee, thanks for that. Ours has a sidelight, so a solid door will be ok I think. But I see that some cannot be stained as they are primed MDF, so my options are a bit limited. The model we went for is the Corinthian Madison PMAD104 in a tempered hardwood timber. That reminds me, I did have to pay extra for staining - Provide a stained finish to the Front Entry door both internally and externally $198, Provide a stained finish to the Frond Entry Frame both internally and externally, $99. Price is in total, so for both doors. Re: Porter Davis Upgrades and Costs 56Apr 11, 2013 11:40 am Imlost and Chrystee, thanks. So you both went for a similar door and had them stained-Imlost, Corinthian told me the doors beginning with P are primed, but you can get basically a timber veneer, is this what you are getting? I don't mind those doors with a little bit of glass, I guess I could have textured glass... Just something to remember (I only found this out yesterday at Tender) if you are getting stained doors, you need to re-stain them every 12 months otherwise you void your warranty for those doors. Unsure if it is in the contract, but it is something that the Tender Presenter mentioned so maybe it is in the fine print for the warranty or something! Re: Porter Davis Upgrades and Costs 58Apr 11, 2013 3:14 pm thanks ftd, definitely something that would need to be done then. PD would do two coats of stain, right? Because I don't want it to come out too light. Our build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64705 Re: Porter Davis Upgrades and Costs 59Apr 14, 2013 7:21 pm meowsy Imlost and Chrystee, thanks. Our doors are not getting stained, we decided to have them painted to match our front facade and interior colour palette. ftdt7882's comment is also correct, you must maintain your door in order to maintain the warranty. We were also told this during our tender and contract appointment. After re-reading this thread, I wonder if I have been quoted wrongly on Cat 2 bricks?? I was quoted around $2000 for the Montrose, which is around 22sq. I am going to ask my SC to check on that.... it seems like alot given I was quoted $4000 for Cat 6 bricks....
