Browse Forums Home Finance 1 Feb 06, 2014 10:36 am Hi guys! Have been looking through these forums the last few weeks as we are currently looking for our first home and have no idea where to start! I hope I have posted this in the right forum! We are currently waiting on land release from Stockland WA and as we have never been to a land release day before, I was just wondering what is involved? As Stockland goes in order of when you registered with them, is there likely to be less people there? Does it actually get crazy with people trying to source land? What happens after you have chosen your plot of land? Do you have to sign Anything there and then? Do you have to put down more money then you originally did ($5k in this instance)? If we are after a house and land package, when do we have to sign with the builder? I just have no idea what happens on the day and would love to hear anyone's experiences. Hopefully will be a bit more civilised for yourself hahaha.
