Re: estimating 2Jul 08, 2013 5:43 pm Cordell seems to offer "the book" bible, Estimator Software and eCosting. Which of these is appropriate and affordable for an Owner Builder? Or is there another Australian Cost Estimation option, maybe on a Software Rental basis? The fact they don't provide up front disclosure of pricing, and do individual quotes is a concern. That is, more favourable rates for volume buyers. In the meantime, off to "the book" in the TAFE Library. Re: estimating 3Jul 09, 2013 7:36 pm The TAFE copy is always a bit out of date! Will check with Hanna, maybe negotiate a 1 year licence From 3rd party comments, standard pricing would be out of reach. I do have PlanSwift for Takeoff, but will also consider handing that to an estimating company. Theoretically, they should pick up any whoops items, and should be more accurate and faster than a noob My sig quote I added my own second line, but took it down.. Think it was.
