Having just had so many issues with our block I would recommend it if the service is available. Extras we didn't allow for have been the power pit and the storm water drainage. Guess what? 1.2m storm water drain running thru the back of the block. Cant build 3m within it, so basically lost 6m off my block, fair bit when the block is only 425m2. Went to a different agent, found a better block, done the same checks and signed a contract. If buying "off the plan", beware services can be moved/change when developing the land. My mate had this issue, now he has a 2m x 3m power box on this nature strip. He is pretty gutted Also check for "fill" or land thats been topped up. Can cost a small fortune for engineering slab/foundations Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
