Our first bill arrived on Wed 26th of March. Mrs had already told M that we would be away for a few days that week, but this wasn't a problem because the due date was Fri 4th of April. We presented the invoice to the bank on Mon 31st March. The bank only paid it TODAY, 6 business days after we gave it to them and 2 business days overdue. It hasn't really impacted on us at all, and M won't charge us interest, but I'd like to know if anyone else out there has experienced the same sort of delays with CBA? Maybe it's normal? Re: Which bank? 2Apr 08, 2008 10:01 pm Well, I'm experiencing delays with the credit union sorting out my loan, see my thread in here, STILL waiting for them to get back to me or their evaluator to approve the site or something, meanwhile building company on my back, I'm dreading the phone ringing in case its them again saying the frame payment is overdue (which it is - by 3 weeks now) but I can't do anything about it until credit union rings to say funds have been made available to draw down.
Luckily builders relented and started bricking, they had said they wouldn't do so until frame payment made. ![]() ![]() ![]() Let's scream together, Eager: AAAHHHH!! The bank will do the valuation based on the contract at the time of assessing finance. 1 3581 more conservative than before. materials are expensive, house prices have fallen. outlook poor to uncertain. High LVR loans are difficult to come by and very strict… 1 27685 How much are you ahead in payments compared to where the build is at? Have you fully drawn down the loan? 5 3735 |
