Browse Forums Home Finance 1 Apr 27, 2012 9:16 am I'm looking for some help from the experienced builders!. We have just received our first progress payment invoice from the builder. The amount is correct, however they have placed an amount in for our variations, therefore reducing what we need to pay to the builder. Essentially, we placed around$17k into the contract for flooring to be done after handover. This was approved for the loan, however I am concerned with the valuation that they will be minusing $17k from the value at the end. Should I get the builder to re-do the invoice just to show the progress payment according to the contract?
