He said it's a Bank of Melbourne (St. George) thing. I rang my conveyancer to ask whether they have received the paperwork as yet, and they said it was quite odd that it would get sent to them, as according to some consumer code thingy, the paperwork should be sent directly to the mortgagee's. They said in any case they would forward it along, but just wondering from other people's experiences, where has your mortgage paperwork been sent to? Re: Mortgage Paperwork - Where does it normally get sent? 2Sep 02, 2011 12:43 pm There is no legal requirement for it to be sent anywhere in particular with most lenders giving you the option to send the documents to any one of the borrower, the solicitor/conveyancer or the broker. Just depends on what the broker input in the application Mortgage Paperwork - Where does it normally get sent? 3Oct 10, 2011 1:23 pm Ours got sent to our local branch of our lender in error. It was mean't to be sent to our broker so we could sign it straight away. When she realised what they had done she flipped out and had them reissue the paper work and courier it to her the same day.. We were only a day away from our subject to finance running out so time was pretty short!
