Browse Forums Home Finance 1 Apr 13, 2011 10:30 pm Hi all have been talking with a company 'Domain Charter Group' has anyone dealt with them and what was your exp. what costs do they normally charge when you do your first investment property or do they operate like a broker and receive commissions from there finance people. Do you pay for there time to look for growth areas etc or is that something they do so they get investers. Thankyou Dean Re: investment property managers 2Apr 13, 2011 11:50 pm I don't know anything about these guys but if they are selling off the plan properties, find out as much as you can about them and then look for comparable properties in that estate/suburb. Some of these guys increase the price of purchase to get a nice cut for themselves. if going for finance and they offer to look after that for you too, ask if it is ok for you to use an external broker. if they object, it may be that their brokers are doing a little creative financing to get the deal through. Google them as well, the net is the best place to find out if anyone has had issues with these guys. If all the above stacks up and you either don't have the knowledge and/or time to find properties yourself, then it could be a good idea to invest through them.
