The best deal is to choose the best block for you. So before you go you need to have a good idea of what you want so you make the best choice. There are a few ideas here in what to look for in a block. http://www.anewhouse.com.au/?cat=26 The Harder You Try - the Luckier You Get ! Re: Williams Landing Buying 4Jan 29, 2011 6:48 pm It depends whats important to you. Around Werribee there are blocks at Manor Lakes and Bluestone Green for 2/3 the money. Much more developed estate and in 2 years the fast rail link will mean just as good rail links into Melbourne. The Harder You Try - the Luckier You Get ! Re: Williams Landing Buying 6Jan 29, 2011 7:06 pm I think the railway station is already priced into this block and the land is expensive so I can't see much capital growth. For better capital growth I would be looking at the new rail route through Manor Lakes and Tarneit which is starting soon. If you buy now by the time the house is built you will only have to wait a year. The Harder You Try - the Luckier You Get ! Re: Williams Landing Buying 7Jan 29, 2011 7:28 pm Makes Sense, Thankyou Hmm. Any reason why i can go for Williams Landing. My Notion is New Suburb, big town centre, Age group (30-40 Years), from what you say wouldnt have significant capital growth but might increase after railway station Re: Williams Landing Buying 8Jan 29, 2011 7:34 pm Just remember all the shops and the railway station are yet to happen. The station is not due for completion for another 1-2 years. Closer to 2 yrs. The capital growth may already have peaked for now, but in the future who knows. It is only 20k from the city. Remember its already fairly close to the existing Aircraft Station. Nothing wrong with buying in Williams Landing if you like the idea. You just have to remember that bargains aren't found in trendy developments If you are looking for capital growth you need to look for sites that aren't trendy now but will have reasons to improve over the next 2-3 years. Re: Williams Landing Buying 10Jan 29, 2011 8:21 pm "Remember its already fairly close to the existing Aircraft Station." Does that imply there is no gurantee for Williams Landing railway station. I was under the impression once its approved by transport Government (I did see it on their website) it is ought to be constructed Re: Williams Landing Buying 11Jan 29, 2011 8:48 pm It will happen, it is just when. With the new Govt anything is possible. As far as we know though it is still going ahead. A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands. Until they have started building there is always the chance of deferring it to save money for flood relief or some other reason. The idea was that the Airport station would be closed when Williams Landing was opened so that the total Weribee to Melbourne time would be the same. The people who use Aircraft are currently protesting. The Harder You Try - the Luckier You Get ! Re: Williams Landing Buying 13Feb 08, 2011 10:37 pm I think williams landing price will keep growing. around 20k-30k every release around 3 months. compare it with toorak. if it is already popular it will more popular. even the price already high, it will be higher. find something that absolutely good. don't gamble. btw tarneit will be v-line and you don't know when? williams landing only 19k which is less then 20k. this williams landing station is mostly popular for point cook neighborhood they wait this for long time. and aircraft station will be zone1 and if they gonna close aircraft williams landing will be zone 1 . if you can afford now. it's better get it now before it's too late.
