Browse Forums Home Finance 1 Oct 01, 2010 3:25 pm Hi guys, Just after your advice. Under the HIA contract the builder can issue you with an invoice for works that are around 50% complete. Ok fine no issues there. The issue I have is that I have paid this, 1 month ago, and they still havent completed the works. Now I have been issued with the next invoice for the roofing, which again is probably more than 50% complete. Would you be happy to pay the next progress payment when the previous works are still not finished??? I am thinking of getting a bit narky about this but wanted to know your advice. thanks.
