Anyone dealt with them before? Yep, Ive got the product. 7 weeks to be fully approved. However I never had a preapproval Made alot of errors, however that said, all the banks are atm. Re: bankwest 3Feb 07, 2010 4:22 pm I have my normal transaction accounts with bankwest... great account.. all you need to do is deposit 2k a month and you get $0 monthly fee and unlimited use of all major ATM's. Bankwest, CBA, NAB, ANZ and Westpac for no additional fees. Re: bankwest 4Feb 07, 2010 4:32 pm Just signed my contracts with them... seemed all right from the paperwork compared to other banks Re: bankwest 5Feb 11, 2010 12:07 pm We are with them for our loan and we have the zero account with them as well. So far we've had no problems, the loans process was fairly straightforward, our comparison rate is quite good compared to other lenders. The zero account is great for us too. Everything is online, but when we have called them (we are in Qld with no branches near us) they have been quick and efficient. They have checked up on large $$ transfers too so they are on the ball with that. Re: bankwest 6Feb 11, 2010 8:38 pm I'm with them.. personally i think a bank is a bank.. and if one is willing to give me a discount on interest then take it!! Gone are the days when you had to wear your best clothes and a pretty smile just to get to bank to lend you the money. Loyalty to a bank is a thing of the past. Re: bankwest 7Feb 15, 2010 3:05 pm BankWest have been good with us on all counts EXCEPT that their valuation came in 10% under the 3 other valuations (2 by other banks, one independent) that we organised. We submitted the other 3 valuations to them but they didn't care. In effect we got less of an LVR from them. If you are after a high LVR from them ensure you know what valuation they are going to give you. The valuation they gave us was also quite a bit lower than our previous valuation from Westpac. And considering it had been almost 8 months since the Westpac valuation, hence the land and house values had risen, I would have expected the valuation to be even higher. But no, and I don't know why??? So if a high LVR is important to you, you're better off going with another bank. But in respect to everything else, we have found Bankwest to be efficient, friendly, helpful, quick. Approval within a week!!! Well done bankwest. I also have savings accounts and "everyday" accounts with bankwest for almost a year now and have never had any issues/problems with them.
