We get a discount on our mortgage insurance as my partner has been in his job for more than 2 years. As soon as finance is approved, he plans on changing jobs. He actually did the same thing when we bought the house we are in now, and we have never had any questions asked. I imagine the banks are too busy with other people's applications to bother checking on the employment status of their existing customers. I guess that as long as they get their money, they don't care who you work for!! Re: Job change in midst of construction - banks view 6Jan 21, 2010 9:20 am I had a similar issue, as I cut down to part time work after our finance was approved. Before the first payment for the construction we had to re submit pay slips which freaked me out... but my boss was good enough to 'create' some payslips still showing my full time wage... Re: Job change in midst of construction - banks view 7Jan 21, 2010 12:19 pm We're going through this as well, our broker has basicall recommended that we don't until after our land has settled and as such the first draw down has completed. Mainly as we've now got approval, but if settlement and the draw down don't occur within 6 months then we have to re-submit for the LMI and something else and the bank would then ask for payslips and a change would not be looked upon well. Pretty much what he said was after the first draw down so long as your still making payments effectively to the 'big four' you become a number which deposits money. Its only if your short or miss a payment your account becomes flagged for them to look into, so long as you keep paying irrespective of the source they're content to ignore you. Hi, We've done this, Change from FT to Casual at a different location. Our land has not settled either, next week sometime. However, the servicability on mine is fine anyway. Regardless of wall hung toilet or floor pan toilet your feet will be right on drain, seems to me the waste should not be in that location given the design. For timber flooring, for most parts it's fine because it's got base plates, and for door jabs you can… 7 11561 |
