Browse Forums Home Finance 1 May 01, 2007 9:39 am Hi Guys ... I saw a property. It cost me about $185K. I am first home buyer.
My questions are.... If this is my first home / property, can I rent it to other? If I am planning to rent it to other, am I still eligilble for first home buyer govt grant of $12K ?? Re: Can first home buyer give it on rent? 2May 01, 2007 2:17 pm I think you have to live in it for a year, possibly 2 and then you can rent it out. Guy I sit next to at work has just recently had this same dilemma.
