Can first home buyer give it on rent?

Hi Guys ... I saw a property. It cost me about $185K. I am first home buyer.

My questions are....

If this is my first home / property, can I rent it to other?

If I am planning to rent it to other, am I still eligilble for first home buyer govt grant of $12K ??

I think you have to live in it for a year, possibly 2 and then you can rent it out. Guy I sit next to at work has just recently had this same dilemma.

Okay ... but I want to sell that property, Can I sell it ??

Hi as the rules and regulations very from 1 state to the next you really need to enquire from the office of state revenue from the state as to where you live. From the grant you have sugested I am assuming Victoria however vistit our site at www.alphamortgagesolutions.com.au/tools.htm and pick the office of the state you belong too. There pages have lots of FOQ and also their contact details
