Browse Forums Home Finance 1 Feb 10, 2009 10:30 pm Hey, I am very new to the field of finance so for that may I get the information about online motorgage calculator. And how to use it online and if I am not online then how can I use it? Paul Martin free mortgage calculators, home loan calculators 2Feb 11, 2009 1:39 am I assume you mean using a software mortgage calculator to figure out mortgage repayments, borrowing power, split loans, home loan comparisons, how long to repay etc. These are to be found all over the internet on banks web sites as well as here at MFAA http://www.essentialsofborrowing.com.au ... lator/MFAA
If you mean to say a hand held finance calculator like we brokers use, these are available at any large bookshop like Dymocks. If you mean spreadsheet mortgage calculators, these are usually limited to professional users like brokers but I have seen some on sale for general use. Re: Information about motorgage calculator 3Feb 14, 2009 8:11 am Paul,
Do you have access to Excel? If so, put in the following: Put loan amount ($) in cell A1 Put interest rate per annum (eg 0.075) in cell A2 Put loan term (years) in A3 Put number of loan repayments per year (12 or 26) in A4 Then put the following formula in A5 =A1*A2/A4*POWER(1+A2/A4,A3*A4)/(POWER(1+A2/A4,A3*A4)-1) A5 is your single repayment. If you don't have excel, use a calculator.
