Hi CiNnY, Yes you could get approval using your husbands job income and your job income. As for his business income the majority of banks would be hesitant to use that income unless you could get a letter from your accountant confirming that his business was still operating and could reasonably be expected to earn the same as what he was earning in the last financial year. In that case they could use both jobs plus the average of the last two financial years income for his business (depending on the bank). Your broker should know which bank is the right one for this one. Good luck! Re: New Job 3 month probation 24Jan 19, 2009 4:24 pm CiNnY Sorry to high jack the thread Saleen! Hi CiNny, a broker that can have holidays?? Maybe he really needs it. Contract roles are treated very different so longer period is required and you say he has a business as well, so he will need to show tax returns but it is possible. Your income also strengthens the application (you can tell your partner) Re: New Job 3 month probation 25Jan 24, 2009 8:56 am haha i told him i stregthened it and he laughed smart alec..... its all sorted boss has agreed to write a letter stating how long hes been there what hes does and that hes not on a probabtion and that his not looking at my partner losing his job in the forseeable future... was only a verbal 3 month probation beauty of a small business!!! 2nd build here we come in Whittlesea! https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=92617 1st Build - Henley - Cooper in Doreen!
