They have not passed on any of the RBA rate cut last week! I have phoned them twice and e-mailed my account manager as well as customer service. On the phone they said they're still discussing it internally but have no rate cut on home loans as yet. This is unacceptable as they cut the interest rates on savings accounts by 0.75% immediately following the RBA announcement. I would urge anyone who has their mortgage with HSBC Australia to contact them and demand action. Can't comment as they left the broker distribution channel last year and sold off their broker originated loans to a company called FirstMac.
