How to find the right mortgage broker?

Hey!

I was hoping to get some advice from the community about finding a good mortgage broker.

I've just used the mortgage broker directory Compare Mortgage Brokers to find a broker in Sydney. I messaged several brokers on there just to make sure I got a response. The problem is... they all responded back :shock:

Now what do I do lol? How do I pick the right one?

Help PLZ!

I used Compare Mortgage Brokers to find my broker too last year. They have a checklist of 12 actionable steps to find a good mortgage broker I used that I found helpful.

Check their reviews / social media presence

Ring a couple and see your gut feel about them

No point in proceeding with more than one as we more or less have the same options and you don't want multiple applications - but see who you feel comfortable with

or, local facebook groups can recommend the ones nearest you who have had good success.
