I am unsure on watts and kelvins for the room: Bedroom 1: 12.58m2 (3.7 x 3.4) Bedroom 2: 8.64m2 (3.6 x 2.4) https://thelightingoutlet.com.au/produc ... -mlrro5028 https://thelightingoutlet.com.au/produc ... ing-sl2110 Re: Best kelvin and watts for our bedrooms? 2Jul 31, 2019 8:58 pm TomS Can anyone recommend which lights (below) would be best for two bedrooms. A LED provides around 80-100 lumens per watt and you should be aiming for around 20-50 lumens/m2. 50 if you read in bed down to 20 if you just want some background light for watching TV. For a bedroom I would be looking at something like a 5W LED and 2 bedside lights. There is more at: http://anewhouse.com.au/2018/12/lighting-levels/ The Harder You Try - the Luckier You Get ! I have been looking at 10W downlights, is 5W essentially the equivalent of half a downlight in the room? Re: Best kelvin and watts for our bedrooms? 4Jul 31, 2019 10:21 pm Down lights are completely different in the way that they light a room compared with the fittings you previously mentioned. For down lights you would probably be looking at least 9 down lights to give an even light. For LEDs 9 x 1 watts would probably be OK The Harder You Try - the Luckier You Get !
