There's a light fitting I really like, but it's only made and sold abroad. It's certified with CE and FCC, but there is no regulatory compliance mark (RCM).
As I understand, CE certification is for Europe, and FCC is for the US, whereas certification here is with RCM, and I guess because we're a smaller market here, many manufacturers can't be bothered to get the RCM certification.
What issues will this present to me, or my electrician, or my insurer, if I want to get a non-RCM certified light fitting installed in my house?
