It’s hooked up to a circular t5 55w flourescent light. I can’t help you with a replacement ballast, but suggest it could be a good opportunity to replace the entire light with an LED equivalent. They come in all manner of configurations, and while it might cost a bit more up front, it will be more efficient and last way longer than the Fluro.
