We're currently planning the lighting in our soon-to-be-built home, and the lounge room is creating some interesting problems. We want the room to:
- 1. have no direct lighting (all reflected)
2. a black pressed-tin ceiling
3. exposed thick timber beams, cathedral ceiling
The whole atmosphere should be cosy, dim, and generally "old world". The only reading light will be a lamp by the sofa.
Does anyone have any ideas? We after industrial-looking fixtures that are reminiscent of a factory or museum. Has anyone ever lit a room in this sort of "theatrical" style?
